Mahindra is preparing to build SUVs on a new platform, but is currently seeking land for a greenfield manufacturing plant. The company is focused on increasing production to meet demand in both domestic and international markets.
Mahindra recently launched the multi-energy NU IQ platform, which will serve as the foundation for a new range of SUVs. The first model based on this platform is scheduled to launch in 2027. This platform is designed for both Indian and global markets, and the vehicles will represent entirely new SUVs within Mahindra’s portfolio.
