The Skoda Kylaq, a sub-compact SUV launched by Skoda last November, has proven to be a major success for the company. The Kylaq has dramatically improved Skoda India’s fortunes, with sales more than doubling in the past seven months. The Kylaq competes with vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Tata Nexon in the market.
Deliveries of the Skoda Kylaq began in January 2025. Skoda has sold 27,091 units of the car to date. Notably, this sales figure accounts for 65% of the company’s total sales of 41,748 units during January-July 2025. Thanks to the Kylaq, Skoda achieved a record monthly sale of 7,422 cars in March 2025, its highest monthly sales figure to date. The Kylaq has propelled Skoda’s sales from 17,565 units to 41,748 units.
