The inaugural week of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ has already ignited with controversy, sparked by the nomination task. Contestants were instructed to name individuals for nomination, leading to significant drama. This task resulted in heated arguments among the housemates, with Tanya Mittal and Awez Darbar visibly upset. The nominated contestants for the first week of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ include Gaurav Khanna, Tanya Mittal, Zeeshan Qadri, Neelam Giri, Abhishek Bajaj, Natalia Janoszek, and Pranit More. The show features a total of 16 contestants. Also in the house are Amaal Mallik, Ashnoor Kaur, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajker, Zeishan Qadri, Baseer Ali, Kunicka Sadanand, Nataila Janoszek, Pranit More, Nehal Chudasama, Mridul Tiwari and Farhana Bhatt. Farhana was initially evicted but was instead sent to a secret room. Furthermore, Shehbaz Badesha was eliminated during the ‘Fans Ka Faisla’ segment of the premiere.
