Reliance is poised to elevate the streaming experience with upcoming AI-powered features for the JioHotstar app. These advancements include a voice-enabled assistant, real-time dubbing capabilities, and multi-angle viewing options, promising to transform how viewers engage with their favorite shows, movies, and live sports.
Introducing Riya, an AI voice assistant designed to streamline content discovery, Akash Ambani, Chairman of Jio, highlighted its intuitive search functionality. Riya understands natural language, allowing users to effortlessly locate specific episodes, seasons, or moments within vast content libraries.
JioHotstar will also introduce Voice Print, a real-time voice cloning service. Leveraging AI-driven technology for lip-syncing and voice replication, content will be dubbed into local languages while maintaining the original actors’ voices and expressions.
For sports fans and dedicated viewers, JioLenZ will provide multi-angle viewing based on device orientation. MaxView 3.0 will further enhance the experience with live scorecards, instant highlights, multi-camera angles, and commentary in various languages, all optimized for natural phone usage.
While an official launch date remains undisclosed, these features hold the potential to redefine digital streaming, particularly for immersive sports and entertainment viewing. Details are pending on the Reliance or Jio websites.
