The 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit is set to take place in Tianjin, China. This summit holds significance not only as the 25th meeting but also because it may provide a strategic path to counter US dominance and pressure, potentially neutralizing Trump’s tariff policies. It is anticipated that India, China, and Russia will collectively take significant steps against Trump’s unilateral approach during this meeting.
Following a two-day visit to Japan, Prime Minister Modi departed for China on Saturday to participate in the SCO summit. The summit, commencing in Tianjin, will bring together representatives from over 20 countries, including India, Russia, and China. Prime Minister Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese Premier Xi Jinping are expected to play key roles in the discussions.
