The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has extended its inquiry into the alleged mass burial at Dharmasthala, bringing ‘Maskman’ Chinnaiah to Bengaluru. The team is inspecting three locations Chinnaiah visited earlier this year, believed to be connected to his planning. A rented house in Mallasandra, registered under the name of T Jayanth, is one of the key locations. Jayanth is reportedly associated with Mahesh Shetty Timmarodi, a self-proclaimed social activist from Dakshina Kannada. Chinnaiah stated he stayed at the house in April, prompting an SIT investigation. Jayanth’s wife, son, and daughter currently reside there. It was at this house that Chinnaiah first brought the skull, which was later handed over to the SIT. Chinnaiah and Jayanth subsequently traveled to Delhi, allegedly to bring the matter to the Supreme Court.
