The West Bengal School Service Commission (SSC) has published the names of 1,804 candidates deemed ineligible, adhering to a directive from the Supreme Court. The apex court instructed the Commission to make public the list of individuals implicated in the cash-for-jobs scandal. The West Bengal Central SSC issued a notice stating the release of the list, as per the Supreme Court’s order dated August 28, 2025, in the matter of BEJOY BISWAS & ORS. Vs. STATE OF WEST BENGAL & ORS. This list comprises candidates whose selection had been previously overturned by the High Court and subsequently upheld by the Supreme Court. The list is now available on the West Bengal Central School Service Commission’s official website to ensure transparency.
