Atal Parisar, constructed in Ward No. 22 of Sasa Holi, was inaugurated in the memory of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal, Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, Municipal President Chandrakala Khu Man Verma, and other guests, who performed the formal rituals. The Atal Parisar was built with a sanctioned amount of 28.16 lakh rupees under the infrastructure fund. It features an attractive statue, a pedestal, and floors and walls adorned with granite, all enhanced with electrical fittings. Brijmohan Agarwal expressed his pride in inaugurating the Atal Parisar, highlighting Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s esteemed personality, his contributions to rural development, and his efforts to liberate farmers. Tank Ram Verma lauded Vajpayee’s qualities as a statesman, poet, writer, and editor, and recognized his role in making India a nuclear power. Municipal President Chandrakala Khu Man Verma thanked the Chief Minister and the Chhattisgarh government for establishing the statue and acknowledged Vajpayee’s role in the creation of the Chhattisgarh state. The inauguration was attended by numerous dignitaries, BJP officials, municipal employees, representatives, BJP workers, and residents.
