New Zealand batsman Tim Seifert, aged 30, created a sensation in CPL 2025. He equaled Andre Russell’s record for the fastest century in the history of the Caribbean Premier League, scoring his hundred in just 40 balls. Seifert achieved this feat on August 31st against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons while playing for the Saint Lucia Kings. He opened the innings in a chase of a target of 205 runs, and his performance led to a victory for his team, along with the breaking of three major records.
