This message coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the SCO Summit in Tianjin, China. The embassy’s post on X highlighted the progress and possibilities driving the partnership, spanning innovation, entrepreneurship, defense, and bilateral ties, emphasizing the enduring friendship between the two nations. The post also referenced a statement by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, reinforcing the importance of the relationship. Concurrently, Prime Minister Modi described his discussions with President Putin as ‘excellent,’ covering ways to deepen bilateral cooperation across sectors, including trade, fertilizers, space, security, and culture, while also addressing the situation in Ukraine.
