In a heartwarming gesture this Raksha Bandhan, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles collaborated with TV9 Network to create a special initiative. Under the banner of ‘Raksha Ka Bandhan,’ female employees from the Durga Line at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles’ Jamshedpur plant crafted rakhis for truck drivers.
The women employees, who contribute to the manufacturing of India’s safest trucks equipped with crash-tested cabins and advanced safety features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), view the trucks not merely as machines but as a means of livelihood. For them, each driver is family, even if they have never met. The rakhis created by these women are not just threads but prayers for safe journeys and a promise that someone, somewhere, always wishes them well.
The rakhis traveled from Jamshedpur to the Kalamboli Transport Nagar in Navi Mumbai, passing through several states. At various locations, the rakhis were tied on the wrists of truck drivers. This moment provided emotional reassurance to the drivers, acknowledging the significance of their tireless journeys across the country’s highways and wishing for their safety.
TV9 Network captured every step of the journey, from the women employees crafting the rakhis to the emotional messages for the drivers and the poignant moments of the rakhis being tied on the drivers’ wrists. These special stories and videos were broadcast on TV9’s major platforms, transforming a corporate initiative into a nationwide celebration of bonds.
Through this initiative, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles reinforced its philosophy of safety and care. The campaign saluted India’s truck drivers, who selflessly drive the nation forward, ensuring that goods reach every corner of the country. In return, the drivers were reminded that their journeys matter, their safety matters, and their relationships matter.
