Congress MP Rahul Gandhi declared his commitment to ensuring that no votes are stolen in Bihar during the upcoming assembly elections. He reiterated his concerns about potential vote manipulation.
Gandhi expressed this commitment on Monday via a post on X, stating, “We pledge – not a single vote will be stolen in Bihar. We will protect democracy and the Constitution with all our might.”
The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha also acknowledged the efforts of key opposition leaders from various parties within the INDIA bloc, recognizing their contributions to the success of the ‘Voter Adhikaar Yatra.’
“Heartfelt thanks to Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Mukesh Sahni, Bihar Congress leadership, the Congress’s Babbar Sher, INDIA workers, and the youth of the state for making the Bihar Voter Adhikaar Yatra historic,” Gandhi said.
Speaking to ANI, Gandhi noted the widespread resonance of the slogan “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhodd,” even extending to international awareness, “It has now reached China,” he added.
