Salman Khan is gearing up for a strong comeback. While his recent films haven’t performed as expected, with ‘Tiger 3’ underperforming and ‘Sikandar’ failing at the box office, he has a history of successful films. In 2005, one of his films earned 70 crore, surpassing the earnings of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, even though they delivered a hit film themselves. Aishwarya Rai also didn’t lead in terms of box office success.
The film in question is ‘No Entry,’ released in 2005. Directed by Anees Bazmee, it was made on a budget of 20 crore and grossed 74 crore worldwide. The film was reportedly a Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Charlie Chaplin.’ Though there was no direct clash between Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan’s movie and Salman Khan’s film, the latter outperformed.
