Political tensions are escalating in Bihar following derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. The ruling NDA has called for a Bihar bandh on September 4th in protest. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), along with all its allies in the NDA, will participate in the bandh. During a recent event, PM Modi stated that while he might forgive RJD and Congress for the insult to his mother, the people of Bihar will not. He has also established the party’s stance on this issue. The BJP is now working to finalize a comprehensive campaign strategy.
The BJP is planning a widespread campaign to take the issue of the offensive remarks down to the grassroots level in Bihar. The party intends to take this issue to the assembly and district levels, where protests will be held to highlight the issue of the insult to women. During these protests, the people of Bihar, especially women, will be informed about how, if PM Modi’s mother can be insulted, what kind of behavior they can expect from the government.
BJP is holding a crucial meeting in Delhi on Wednesday to discuss this issue. Senior BJP leaders from Bihar will attend the meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This meeting is considered significant for finalizing the party’s election strategy.
It is anticipated that the meeting will be attended by BJP National President JP Nadda, along with Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal, both Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Union Ministers Giriraj Singh and Nityanand Rai. Additionally, Vinod Tawde, in charge of the party organization, co-in charge Deepak Prakash, and senior leaders Bhikhubhai Dalsania and Nagendranath will also be present.
According to sources, the meeting is expected to focus on five major issues. First, there might be a discussion at the organizational level, including necessary improvements. Second, important political issues will be discussed. Third, coordination with the NDA will be addressed. Fourth, feedback from the ground will be discussed. Fifth, the performance of the government will be reviewed. Furthermore, an analysis of the impact of the opposition’s ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ will also be done.
However, the BJP believes that this will not have much impact on the ground, as most people’s votes have not been affected. The impact of Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party at the grassroots level will also be discussed. An assessment will be made to determine if this is having any adverse effect on the NDA’s prospects.
The BJP is particularly focused on the Seemanchal region of Bihar, with its eyes on 30 seats in Katihar, Purnia, Araria, and Kishanganj. It is reported that leaders of allied parties will also participate in this meeting from the next time. The first phase of the NDA worker’s conference has concluded, and it will also be reviewed.
Furthermore, preparations for PM Modi’s rally in Purnia on September 15th will also be discussed. This is a very important visit by PM Modi concerning Seemanchal, which will impact the 30 seats in Seemanchal. The BJP is focused on the 30 seats in Katihar, Purnia, Araria, and Kishanganj. PM Modi will announce several major projects, including an airport, at the rally. A large number of people are expected to attend PM’s rally.
The BJP has divided Bihar into 11 blocks for organizational purposes. The programs of PM’s visit are being planned in such a way that they cover all the blocks. With this visit to Purnia, the PM will cover the entire state of Bihar.
