Last year, Prabhas starred in the film ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ which earned over 1000 crores worldwide. He has since made a cameo appearance and is busy with other projects. His film ‘The Raja Saab’ is slated for release next year. While many actresses are keen to work with him, one actress turned down a film despite the success of ‘Baahubali.’
This occurred in 2019, when Prabhas collaborated with Shraddha Kapoor in an action thriller. The film featured several Bollywood actors, including Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff, Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Mandira Bedi. Although the film received mixed reviews, it was a success, grossing 149 crore. Reports indicate that Katrina Kaif was the initial choice for the film ‘Saaho.’ The filmmakers invested six months in trying to secure her, and Prabhas also waited for her, but she rejected the film.
Katrina was offered ‘Saaho’ before ‘Baahubali 2’ but declined. The makers decided not to pursue her further. Katrina has never publicly commented on these rumors. Another report suggests she wanted to join Prabhas’s film but chose to prioritize a film with Salman Khan.
It is said that at the time, Salman Khan was working on the film ‘Bharat.’ After Priyanka Chopra left the project, Salman’s film faced difficulties. To support him, Katrina reportedly turned down the offer from Prabhas. However, the actress has never spoken out on this issue.
