Maruti Suzuki has introduced its new midsize SUV, the Victoris. Positioned as the flagship model within the brand’s Arena lineup, the Victoris is designed to compete directly with established rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. The Victoris will be available in six distinct variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The design of the Victoris draws inspiration from the E-Vitara, featuring sleek LED headlights with sharp LED DRLs connected by a chrome strip. The design includes prominent bumpers on both the front and rear, enhancing its robust stance. The vehicle is further distinguished by 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, which contribute to its commanding presence.
Inside the cabin, the Victoris boasts a 10.25-inch central touchscreen display, complete with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also includes an 8-speaker Infinity by Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos for an enhanced audio experience. Further features include ventilated seats, an electronically adjustable 8-way driver’s seat, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, a powered tailgate, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster equipped with a heads-up display.
The Victoris marks the debut of Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) in a Maruti Suzuki vehicle. Regarding safety, it is equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-hold assist, a 360-degree camera system, and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). The SUV has achieved a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme).
In terms of powertrain options, the Victoris will offer a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine, a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid, and a CNG version with underbody tanks. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, with the strong-hybrid version utilizing an eCVT (electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission). Select variants will also feature an all-wheel-drive system.
