Meanwhile, work is underway on ‘Mirzapur The Film,’ which promises to feature several prominent actors. Adding to the excitement, television actor Mohit Malik is set to join the cast. Although the film will retain the original characters, it will also introduce fresh faces. Recent updates revealed that actors like Jeetu Bhaiya (Jitendra Kumar) and Ravi Kishan are also part of the project. Mohit Malik shared a welcome note on his Instagram story, expressing gratitude to the team. Mohit Malik has also worked on OTT platforms. His theatrical film ‘Azaad,’ released this year, also featuring Ajay Devgn and Rasha, daughter of Raveena Tandon, did not fare well.
Filming for ‘Mirzapur The Film’ is currently in progress, with shooting scheduled to commence in September. The film is expected to release in 2026. Mohit Malik’s addition has generated excitement among fans, given his experience in three web series, including his recent appearance in ‘Chamak.’
