During a dinner at the White House with tech leaders, former US President Donald Trump suggested that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg might enter American politics. The remarks came during a discussion about freedom of expression in the UK, where Zuckerberg appeared uncomfortable when asked questions by a journalist. Trump responded by saying it was the beginning of his political career and that he would become more adept at public speaking. This follows the path of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has previously engaged in politics with Trump. Zuckerberg was born in New York and is 41 years old. During the dinner, Zuckerberg stated that Meta will invest $600 billion by 2028. Several other tech leaders, including Sam Altman, expressed praise for Trump. While Elon Musk was invited to the dinner, he sent a representative in his place. Trump described the meeting as successful, with the aim of discussing the operations of tech companies in the age of AI.
