Prime Minister Narendra Modi has broken his silence regarding the controversy surrounding alleged abusive remarks made about his late mother during a Bihar rally. He directly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav for bringing his mother into the political arena, where she had never been involved. The Prime Minister stated that his mother was subjected to verbal abuse on an Opposition bloc’s campaign stage, an act he believes has caused humiliation to every mother and sister.
“In Bihar, offensive language was used against my mother from an RJD-Congress platform. This language has not only insulted my mother, but every mother and sister in India. I know you share my pain upon hearing this,” the Prime Minister said, following the launch of the Bihar Rajya Jeevika Nidhi Saakh Sahkari Sangh Limited, which aims to provide accessible funds to women entrepreneurs in Bihar.
