In the Sadar police station area of Ranchi, Jharkhand, a woman was defrauded of her valuable jewelry by two con artists. The victim, identified as Savita Devi, a resident of Kokar, was tricked under the pretense of having her jewelry cleaned and polished. The scammers absconded with her gold earrings, a ring, and a gold chain. The victim has filed a case at the Sadar police station in Ranchi.
Upon receiving the information, the police initiated an investigation and are currently working to identify the two suspects. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the area surrounding the crime scene to aid in their search. The incident occurred at Savita Devi’s home in Bandhagadi. Two individuals approached her, claiming to represent a company with a product designed to clean and restore the shine of jewelry and items made from precious metals.
