A shocking incident unfolded in the village of Jogidipa, located in the Fingeshwar police station area of Gariaband district, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday evening. A man named Kamlesh Nande, addicted to intoxicants, brutally murdered his mother following a minor argument. The dispute stemmed from a disagreement about preparing a fish dish. Enraged, the son attacked his mother with a wooden stick, inflicting fatal injuries. The mother died at the scene, leaving the village in shock and panic. Police promptly arrived at the scene after receiving information, arresting the accused. A forensic team also began investigating the crime scene. Nande’s long-standing addiction to alcohol and drugs had often led to domestic disputes, causing distress to his family and the villagers. The entire area is reeling from the tragic event, and the police are conducting further investigations, questioning the accused.
