The upcoming Asia Cup 2025 will see Team India sporting a jersey without a sponsor logo, a departure from the norm in modern cricket. This detail has caught the attention of fans as the team prepares for the tournament. Shivam Dube showcased the new jersey on Instagram, highlighting the absence of a sponsor logo, with only “INDIA” and the Asia Cup 2025 logo visible. This change follows the conclusion of the BCCI’s sponsorship deal with Dream11. The BCCI is currently seeking a new lead sponsor, and fresh applications were invited earlier in the week. The deadline for purchasing the Invitation of Expression of Interest (IEOI) was September 12, with bids due on September 16. The BCCI is taking extra precautions to avoid issues experienced during the Dream11 partnership, with a list of banned and prohibited categories established to ensure brands align with the organization’s guidelines. India is placed in Group A with Pakistan, UAE, and Oman, starting their campaign on September 10 against UAE, followed by the match against Pakistan on September 14, and concluding the group stage against Oman on September 19. This sponsor-less jersey could be a temporary measure or a statement about stricter commercial guidelines. The focus for Rohit Sharma and the team will be on performing well on the field.
