Chief Minister Hemant Soren reviewed presentations related to the design and work plans of three significant flyover projects proposed by the state government in Ranchi. The review took place at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road, Ranchi. The Chief Minister examined a detailed presentation on the flyover project planned from Harmu (Sahjanand Chowk) to the ACB office. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of the Harmu flyover in alleviating traffic congestion. He noted the frequent jams on the Harmu bypass road and the inconvenience they cause to the public. The flyover is expected to ease commuting and save time for residents. He instructed officials to connect this flyover to the Ratu Road flyover for enhanced convenience. Officials from the Road Construction Department presented information that the tender process for the proposed Harmu (Sahjanand Chowk) to ACB office flyover project had been completed. The Chief Minister also discussed various aspects of the presentation related to the flyover construction projects from Argora Chowk to Kathal Mor and from Karam Toli Chowk to Science City, providing necessary directions. He instructed officials to develop a robust work plan and prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the flyovers, urging further action to realize the projects. The Chief Minister directed the construction of a roundabout (rotary) above Argora Chowk, which would connect several important roads, facilitating smoother traffic flow. The presentation on the elevated flyover (4 lanes) project from Karam Toli Chowk to Science City was also reviewed. Discussions were held on the flyover construction and the road construction plan from the proposed Doctors Colony to Hill View Bariatu Road. The Chief Minister instructed Road Construction Department officials to ensure that future needs are considered while finalizing the design and implementation of all the flyover projects, emphasizing the government’s priority to execute these projects with utmost diligence and commitment. Present at the meeting were Principal Secretary of the Road Construction Department Sunil Kumar, Engineer-in-Chief Praveen Bhengra, Chief Engineer Vijay Ranjan, and Sudhir Kumar from the consulting firm Sparsh Engineering Private Limited, along with other officials.
