A serious threat has emerged in Patna, Bihar, where the Takht Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib Gurudwara received a bomb threat via email. The message explicitly stated the presence of four RDX explosives in the langar hall. The email also contained slogans such as ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and ‘ISI Zindabad,’ causing immediate panic within the gurudwara complex. The threat specifically warned VIPs and staff to evacuate the premises promptly. Upon receiving the information, the gurudwara management committee alerted Patna’s SSP, Kartikeya Sharma. The police swiftly initiated a thorough search of the gurudwara complex, enlisting bomb disposal and dog squad teams. Despite extensive searches, no explosive materials were discovered. The police are now focused on tracing the origin and sender of the email. According to the management committee’s president, Jagjit Singh, the email might be a hoax. The entire gurudwara complex is currently under high alert as investigations proceed.
