The Purnia Airport in Bihar is now ready for operations. Following the announcement of flights to Ahmedabad, the launch of air services to Kolkata has been confirmed. Indigo Airlines has initiated flight ticket bookings for this route. Passengers can travel between Purnia and Kolkata in just 70 minutes. Flights will be available three days a week. The airport is scheduled to be handed over to the public on September 15th.
