Bajaj Auto, one of the world’s largest two-wheeler companies, has announced price reductions for its vehicles in India prior to the implementation of GST 2.0. Consequently, the company’s vehicles will now be cheaper by 20,000 to 24,000 rupees. The reduced prices will apply to Bajaj and KTM vehicles, as KTM is a subsidiary of Bajaj. Customers will be able to take advantage of the new, lower prices starting September 22, the same day the new GST rates will be implemented throughout the country.
The government has taken this step to make it easier for millions of families and small businesses, who rely on reliable and affordable transportation, to purchase vehicles. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Limited, stated that the government’s decision to reduce GST on two-wheelers and three-wheelers is a bold move. This is expected to boost demand and strengthen the industry. Prices of their vehicles will further decrease with the start of the festive season.
