Renault India has announced it will pass on the benefits of GST 2.0 to its customers across its entire lineup. This move, effective September 22, 2025, includes the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber models. Renault joins a growing list of automakers, such as Tata Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Mahindra, who are extending GST reductions to their customers. The price of the Renault Kwid now starts from Rs 4.30 lakh and goes up to Rs 5.90 lakh, with price cuts ranging from Rs 40,095 to Rs 54,995. The Kiger’s starting price is now Rs 5.76 lakh, with reductions of Rs 53,695 on the base variant and up to Rs 96,395 on the top variant, which now costs Rs 10.34 lakh ex-showroom. The Triber also starts at Rs 5.76 lakh, with a reduction of Rs 53,695 on the base trim. The top-spec Triber is now available at Rs 8.60 lakh, with a discount of up to Rs 80,195. According to Venkatram Mamillapalli, Managing Director of Renault India, this initiative demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing customers with the full benefit of GST, aiming to make the vehicles more accessible and boost demand during the festive season. The recently launched Kiger and Triber facelifts come with new styling and features, making these models even more affordable with the price cuts. The Kwid remains a popular entry-level car in the Indian market, attracting budget-conscious buyers.
