A major tragedy occurred in Dhanbad, resulting in the deaths of three people, including two children. The incident took place in the Lodna OP area, specifically at the No. 4 Bye Quarter. The collapse involved an old, dilapidated BCCL housing structure (Khilan Dhaura). Several individuals, including children, had sought shelter from the rain inside the structure when the roof suddenly caved in. The accident claimed the lives of two children and one other person. In addition, three people sustained injuries.
