At a TV9 Digital Bihar meeting held in Patna, IP Gupta, the head of the Indian Inclusive Party (IIP), discussed the reasons behind changing the party’s name. He revealed that an announcement to form the Inquilab Party was made on April 13th. However, due to certain constraints imposed by the Election Commission, the party’s name was altered to the Indian Inclusive Party. Gupta emphasized that the party originated from a movement, positioning the IIP as a political movement aimed at integrating a marginalized section of society into the mainstream and transitioning them from a state of servitude to one of governance.
