The action-adventure film ‘Mirai’ has been well-received by audiences. Starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, ‘Mirai’ marks his return to the big screen following the success of ‘HanuMan’. Despite facing competition from other releases, ‘Mirai’ has secured a place for itself at the box office.
‘Mirai’ collected an estimated Rs 12 crore on its first day, according to initial estimates. The film has opened to strong numbers despite the competitive environment.
A sequel to ‘Mirai’ is hinted at the end of the film, with a sequel titled ‘Mirai: Jaithraya’ promised. Furthermore, Rana Daggubati makes an appearance as a villain in the mid-credits scene, suggesting he will be an antagonist in the next installment. Rana’s character is depicted with superpowers, though details are kept under wraps to maintain the mystery.
The film centers around a warrior tasked with protecting nine sacred scriptures, capable of transforming mortals into deities.
Teja Sajja discussed his casting in ‘Mirai’ after ‘HanuMan’, sharing that director Karthik Ghattamaneni approached him and presented the story, and also discussed the challenges of the project. Teja’s response indicated his willingness to fully commit to the film.
‘Mirai’ also stars Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran, with Manchu Manoj portraying the primary antagonist.
