Political tensions have risen in the wake of the upcoming India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup. Several leaders from the Congress and other opposition parties have voiced their opposition to the match. Prominent figures like Congress National Spokesperson Supriya Shrinate, MP Imran Masood of Saharanpur, and UP Congress President Ajay Rai have expressed their dissent. Imran Masood suggested that the government’s primary aim is to benefit its allies, which is why they are organizing the match. Supriya Shrinate, in a post on social media platform X, noted that many BJP supporters, along with other individuals and independent experts, are also against the India-Pakistan match, labeling the situation as manufactured outrage.
