In the high-profile drugs case in Chhattisgarh, all accused, including Nava Malik and Vidhi Agarwal, will be presented in court on Monday. Police have arrested a total of nine suspects in this case so far. On September 6, after the two-day remand of accused Nava Malik and Vidhi Agarwal ended, they were presented before a special court. Following the hearing, the court sent both accused to judicial remand until September 15. Nava Malik, Ayan Parvez, Vidhi Agarwal, Rishiraj Tandon, Sohail Khan, Junaid Akhtar, Harsh Ahuja, and Monu Vishnoi, who have been arrested so far in the high-profile drugs case, will be presented together in court on Monday.
According to police sources, Nava and Vidhi used to visit Mumbai and Goa every month, where young men and women from affluent families participated in these all-night parties. They provided information about hotels, resorts, clubs, and farmhouses in Raipur, Nava Raipur, Mandir Hasaud, VIP Road, and Chandkhuri, where these parties were held. Vidhi’s event company ‘Behind The Scenes’ organized several events in major hotels, clubs, and marriage palaces in Raipur, including New Year celebrations.
During interrogation, it was revealed that these parties started with a group of 25-30 people, but only about 10-15 people would remain after 1 a.m. Obscene activities also took place with drugs in these farmhouses. The three had contacts with big industrialists, businessmen, CAs (Chartered Accountants), police, and administrative officers, with whom they also admitted to partying. Police have found chats from the accused’s mobile phones, on the basis of which a list of drug consumers is being prepared. These people will be called for counseling, and their families will also be informed because many parents are unaware of their children’s activities. The police are now preparing to call the owners of these farmhouses and clubs for questioning.
