Small-budget films are making a significant impact at the box office, outperforming larger films in terms of performance. Whether it’s Bollywood or South Indian cinema, these smaller films are capturing attention. The film ‘Mirai,’ starring Teja Sajja, is currently doing great business. The film had earned 81 crores worldwide in just three days. However, on the fourth day, the film experienced a considerable drop in earnings.
Expectations were high for Teja Sajja, given his performance in ‘HanuMan.’ He has delivered a compelling performance in ‘Mirai,’ with Teja Sajja performing his own stunts. The film is expected to cross 100 crores worldwide soon.
According to reports, the film earned only 6 crores on its first Monday, a lower figure compared to its Sunday earnings of 16 crores. Although a lower figure was expected, the film did not perform as expected. The film lost 10 crores on Monday. On its opening day, the film earned 13 crores, 15 crores on the second day, and 16.6 crores on the third day.
Notably, the film earned 3.5 crores in Hindi on its third day, indicating that the film is also being appreciated in North India. The majority of the business came from Telugu, with 12.75 crores. The film has earned a total of 50.60 crores in India alone. However, Teja Sajja could not surpass his own record. His film HanuMan earned a total of 17.6 crores in India on its first Monday. Thus, Mirai lagged behind in this respect.
The film ‘Lokah’ starring Kalyani, is also doing well, and is giving Mirai some tough competition. Kalyani’s film has earned 122 crores in India.
