Primebook has released two new laptop models, the Primebook 2 Pro and Primebook 2 Max, aimed at customers looking for affordable options. Priced under 20,000 rupees, these laptops are designed to cater to the needs of students, freelancers, creators, and coders. The launch of these new models underscores Primebook’s goal of making AI laptops accessible to a wider audience.
The Primebook 2 Pro is priced at 17,990 rupees, while the Primebook 2 Max is available for 19,990 rupees. Both laptop models can be purchased from the company’s official website, as well as Amazon and Flipkart. Customers who make a payment on the company’s website will receive an additional discount of 500 rupees. These laptops are positioned to compete with models such as the Acer Aspire 3, Lenovo Chromebook, ASUS Chromebook, and Lenovo IdeaPad 3.
Both laptops run on PrimeOS 3.0, which is based on Android 15. They are equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor for speed and multitasking capabilities, complemented by 8GB of RAM.
The Primebook 2 Pro features a 14.1-inch Full HD resolution IPS anti-glare display. It comes with 128GB of UFS storage, and its battery is designed to last up to 14 hours on a single charge. The Primebook 2 Max has a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display and offers 256GB of storage. This model’s battery can provide up to 12 hours of use on a full charge.
Both laptops are equipped with a 1440p webcam, noise-canceling microphone, dual stereo speakers, and dual USB A and USB C ports with fast charging. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD. Despite their affordability, these laptops include a backlit keyboard. They also come with built-in AI features, such as an AI companion and AI-powered global search.
