During his visit to the UK, former US President Donald Trump and Melania Trump encountered a mid-air emergency when their helicopter, Marine One, was forced to make an unscheduled landing. The incident occurred due to a hydraulic issue while en route back to Stansted Airport following the conclusion of the state visit. The pair were transferred to a support helicopter, which caused a delay in their travel. A White House spokesperson confirmed the situation, stating that the pilots landed at a local airfield as a precaution. Trump’s visit to the UK included a joint press conference with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, during which he discussed his relationship with India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Trump expressed disappointment in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s actions and asserted that the war would not have occurred if he had remained in office.
