Vaibhav Suryavanshi is currently in Australia, gearing up for the upcoming series between the India and Australia Under-19 teams. The series will begin with a one-day series, followed by two multi-day matches. The first ODI series between the Indian and Australian Under-19 teams is scheduled to commence on September 21st. Ahead of the series, a captivating video of the team’s explosive left-handed batsman, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, has surfaced, showing him making a dramatic entrance onto the pitch from the sky.
The video was originally posted on Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s Instagram story and later shared by his IPL franchise, Rajasthan Royals. Although Suryavanshi is currently in Brisbane, Australia, where the matches are to be played, the video does not appear to be from Australia. The video shared by Rajasthan Royals features Suryavanshi in his IPL jersey.
What makes this video unique? The animated video depicts Vaibhav Suryavanshi descending onto the pitch directly from the sky. His entry resembles that of someone landing from a spacecraft. Initially, Suryavanshi is shown with a robotic appearance, but he soon transforms back into his usual form, showcasing the same flair for which he is known. Suryavanshi then plays a powerful shot, further enhancing the video’s appeal.
This marks Suryavanshi’s first tour of Australia. This will also be his first ODI series against Australia. Before this, he has played ODIs against only four teams: Bangladesh, England, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka’s Under-19 teams. In those eight ODIs, Suryavanshi has scored 432 runs at an average of 54, including one century.
Following the ODI series, the Indian Under-19 team is also scheduled to play two multi-day matches in Australia. Suryavanshi has experience playing only four multi-day matches before, including two on Indian soil against Australia and two during the England tour. This will be Suryavanshi’s first time playing multi-day matches in Australia.
