The Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2025 kicks off with a match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Both teams qualified for the Super 4s from Group B. Sri Lanka topped the group with three wins from three matches. Bangladesh secured their spot after defeating Hong Kong and Afghanistan. They are now set to face each other again.
The match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be played at the Dubai International Stadium on September 20th. Like the group stage matches, the Super 4 round matches will begin at 8 PM Indian Standard Time. The toss will take place at 7:30 PM IST. Fans can watch the match live on the Sony Sports Network. It will also be streamed live on the SonyLIV app and website.
In their previous Asia Cup encounter, Bangladesh managed only 139 runs, with Jaker Ali, Shamim Hossain, and captain Liton Das reaching double figures. Sri Lanka easily achieved the target in just 14.4 overs, thanks to Pathum Nissanka’s half-century and Kamil Mishara’s 46 runs. Sri Lanka’s schedule in the Super 4s includes matches against Pakistan on September 23rd and India on September 26th. Bangladesh will play against India on September 24th and Pakistan on September 25th.
