YRF is set to release a major film at the end of the year. While details of ‘Alpha,’ starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, have already emerged, the year has been a mixed bag for YRF. On one hand, ‘Saiyaara’ has grossed over 500 crore, while on the other, ‘War 2’ starring Hrithik Roshan has not performed well. However, work continues on several big films. On the first day of Navratri, the makers announced a major film. Following the success of the first two parts, Mardaani is set to return for a third time. Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani 3’ has been announced with a poster revealing the return of Rani Mukerji as top police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. The film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala. The film is scheduled to release on February 27, 2026. The film will see Rani Mukerji solving her most difficult case. Her last film was ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’ and ‘Mardaani 2’ was released on December 13, 2019.
The first look of Rani Mukerji from the film has been revealed, although it’s just a picture of her hand. In the caption, she wrote, ‘On the auspicious day of Navratri, celebrate the victory of good over evil. Rani Mukerji returns in ‘Mardaani 3′ as top police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy, who will be seen solving her most difficult case.’ The film is scheduled to be released on February 27, 2026. However, there is no other film announced for that date. If the film does not clash, there will be more chances of success at the box office.
