A devastating road accident occurred in the Godda district of Jharkhand on the first day of Shardiya Navratri. Three people, including a married couple, died in the accident. The incident caused chaos at the scene. Upon receiving information about the event, the police arrived and took possession of the bodies, sending them for a post-mortem examination. The families of the deceased are in mourning. The victims were returning after collecting Gangajal for the Kalash Sthapana ceremony when the accident took place.
The incident occurred in the Mahagama police station area of the district. The car was traveling on the Mahagama-Ekchari main road in Godda district when it suddenly went out of control and plunged directly into a gorge off the road. Three people in the car, including a husband and wife, died on the spot. A crowd gathered at the scene after the accident. The deceased have been identified as Jogendra Kumar Yadav, a resident of Mahagama Urja Nagar, his wife Bindeshwari Devi, and another person, Kaushalya Devi.
