Asaduddin Owaisi’s All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is set to commence its ‘Seemanchal Nyay Yatra’ in Bihar, signaling its preparation for the upcoming assembly elections. The yatra, which will be led by Owaisi himself, will begin on September 24th from the Rui Dhansa ground in Kishanganj. The AIMIM aims to address the needs and concerns of the Seemanchal region. The yatra will cover 24 assembly constituencies across Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, and Araria districts. The party’s national spokesperson, Adil Hasan, has stated that the party anticipates significant success in this election, emphasizing their commitment to delivering justice to the people of Seemanchal, who, according to the party, have been neglected by both the Mahagathbandhan and the NDA. The yatra comes after similar initiatives by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav in the state.
