A fire erupted in the Mamta Vahan cell of Sadar Hospital on Tuesday due to a short circuit. Hospital staff swiftly responded and managed to control the fire before it could cause significant damage.
The incident occurred when a call center employee turned on a fan in the Mamta Vahan cell. A sudden short circuit caused the fan to catch fire, leading to initial alarm among those present. However, the hospital staff acted quickly and extinguished the flames. Civil Surgeon of Latehar, Dr. Rajmohan Khalkho, confirmed the incident, stating that the fire was reported in the hospital’s call center, but no damage occurred, and the fire was brought under control.
