Volvo Auto India has introduced the new EX30 electric SUV. Those who book before October 19, 2025, will benefit from an introductory price of ₹39.99 lakh ex-showroom. After the initial offer period, the price will increase to ₹41 lakh. Deliveries of the EX30 are scheduled to commence in the first week of November. In the Indian market, the Volvo EX30 will compete with vehicles like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Sealion 7, BMW iX1, Kia EV6, and MINI Countryman Electric.
The EX30 is Volvo’s most affordable car in India and will be assembled locally at the Hoskote plant in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The India-spec model is equipped with a 69 kWh battery pack, claiming a range of 480 km on a single charge. It features a single rear-axle electric motor, producing 268 bhp and 343 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 180 kmph.
Volvo is offering an 11 kW wallbox charger with the EX30, which can charge the car from 0 to 100% in 7 hours. The model comes with an 8-year or 1,60,000 km battery warranty. Additionally, it includes a 3-year vehicle warranty, a 3-year Volvo service package, and 3 years of roadside assistance.
Key features of the Volvo EX30 include 5 ambient lighting themes, a Harman Kardon sound system, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a fixed panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, one-pedal drive, wireless charging, LED headlamps with active high beam, Nordico upholstery, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
