Pakistan has opened its account in the points table after Bangladesh and Team India, securing its first victory in this round. Pakistan didn’t just open its account; it jumped directly to second place. In a match played in Abu Dhabi on September 23, Sri Lanka batted first and managed to score only 133 runs in 20 overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets for Pakistan, while all-rounder Hussain Talat also bowled economically, taking 2 wickets. Talat then showcased his batting skills, forming an unbeaten 58-run partnership with Mohammad Nawaz, leading the team to a 5-wicket victory. Talat scored an unbeaten 32 runs, while Nawaz played a quickfire innings of 38 runs.
