A video showcasing the new Presidential Wall of Fame in the White House reveals an unusual detail. The wall, featuring portraits of all U.S. presidents in golden frames, presents an image of an autopen in place of former President Joe Biden’s portrait. An autopen is a device used to replicate a person’s signature for repeated signing. This move highlights Donald Trump’s ongoing criticism of Biden, particularly concerning the use of an autopen.
The Presidential Walk of Fame is located in the West Wing Colonnade near the Rose Garden. Communications advisor Margo Martin shared a video of the display on social media platform X, sparking immediate reactions. Trump has repeatedly alleged, without providing evidence, that Biden employed an autopen to sign pardons and other documents, potentially to conceal his deteriorating health. During a recent interview, Trump remarked on the inclusion of the autopen image. The White House also released a photograph of Trump observing the display. Flanking Biden’s placeholder are Trump’s portraits, one as the 45th and another as the 47th president. Guests at a Wednesday dinner in the Rose Garden will be able to see this unique display firsthand.
