Pawan Kalyan’s film, “They Call Him OG,” has made a spectacular debut in 2025, making a significant impact on the box office. The movie’s opening day performance shattered records, outperforming films released in 2024 and 2023. The film has surpassed the opening day collections of major films including Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” and Rajinikanth’s “Kuli.” The film’s success is evident in both domestic and international markets, achieving remarkable financial milestones. Before its official release, the film had already garnered 20.25 crore rupees. On its opening day, “OG” earned 70.75 crore rupees in India, with the South Indian market contributing significantly to this record-breaking figure. Combining these figures, the film’s opening day domestic collection reached 91 crore rupees. The film’s performance in overseas markets is equally impressive. With paid premieres, the film earned 26 crore rupees, and a similar amount was earned on the opening day in international markets. Consequently, the film’s international opening day earnings reached approximately 53-54 crore rupees. The first-day gross collection of the film reached 100 crore rupees. Adding the overseas collection, the film’s first-day earnings totaled 154-155 crore rupees. This strong opening has propelled the film into the top 7 highest-grossing Indian films worldwide, suggesting a potentially massive first-weekend collection.
