Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Delhi office of the BJP on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg on Monday. The inauguration ceremony will be attended by central ministers, several BJP leaders, and thousands of party workers. BJP National President JP Nadda had performed the ‘ground-breaking ceremony’ of the office on June 9, 2023. In the Karur stampede case, Vijay’s party TVK has filed a separate petition in the Madurai Bench, demanding an impartial investigation. A hearing on this will take place this afternoon. The Madras High Court had canceled Sunday evening’s hearing. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in Palghar, near Mumbai. Considering the red alert, the district administration has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges. The administration has appealed to people to venture out of their homes only if absolutely necessary.
