Following India’s victory in the Asia Cup 2025 against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Indian team skipper Suryakumar Yadav announced his decision to donate his entire individual match fees from the tournament. The funds will be directed towards supporting the Indian Armed Forces and the families affected by the Pahalgam terror attack. Yadav conveyed his sentiments, stating, “I have decided to donate my match fees from this tournament to support our Armed Forces and the families of the victims who suffered from the Pahalgam terror attack. You always remain in my thoughts. Jai Hind.” Each Indian player participating in the tournament earned INR 4 lakh per match, and with a total of seven matches played, Suryakumar Yadav’s contribution amounts to INR 28 lakh. India secured the Asia Cup 2025 title by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets.
