Dilip Yadav, the in-charge of Bermamines Police Station, set an example of integrity and humanity on Monday. He reinforced the police’s reputation by returning a lost bag containing jewelry and diamonds worth 15 lakh rupees to its rightful owner. Despite seeing the valuable items, he remained uncorrupted and handed over the bag with utmost responsibility and without any greed. His noble act has been the talk of the town. The victim’s family was overjoyed to recover their lost bag.
Gurucharan Gorai, a resident of Birsanagar, was returning home from work on September 26th when he accidentally dropped his bag near the Tube Company gate. Upon learning of the incident, he reported it to the Bermamines Police Station. In-charge Dilip Yadav initiated an immediate investigation and recovered the bag after diligent efforts.
The recovered bag contained a laptop from HP, a camera from Nikon, a gold necklace, two diamond rings, five gold rings, gold earrings, ear studs, diamond ear rings, and a gold locket, along with other precious ornaments. Gurucharan Gorai expressed his gratitude to Police In-charge Dilip Yadav for safely returning all the items.
