In Uttar Pradesh, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested four individuals – Akmal Raza, Safeel Salmani (also known as Ali Razvi), Mohd Tausif, and Kasim Ali – in connection with the ‘I Love Muhammad’ controversy. The arrests, made on Monday, followed investigations into alleged plans to overthrow the government through violent jihad and establish Sharia law. The ATS reported that the suspects were part of a Mujahideen Army and were influenced by radical Pakistani organizations. These groups purportedly held meetings, used social media to incite violence, and solicited funds to procure weapons for terrorist activities. Their alleged plans included targeting and killing non-Muslim religious leaders.
