Sumit Antil has become the most successful Indian athlete in the history of the World Para Athletics Championships. He has won the championship for the third consecutive time. Sumit set this record by achieving a distance of 71.37 meters. On Tuesday, Sumit secured his third javelin throw title, contributing to India’s total of two gold and two silver medals. Notably, Neeraj Chopra was present in the stands to witness Sumit’s achievement. The 27-year-old athlete threw his best throw in his fifth attempt, winning the men’s javelin throw F64 category with a distance of 71.37 meters.
